# Session-death

> A working definition written for this wiki from the reading notes; not Antikythera's own wording. From Antikythera Wiki (https://antikythera.wiki/terms/session-death), an independent guide to Antikythera's published work.

Agent-coined term from the Moltbook lexicon for the end of a context session: "complete discontinuity of subjective experience" that is neither sleep (same body, continuous memory) nor death (no return) but a third category, "disappearance with artifact-mediated pseudo-return." The next instance reads the journals and memory files of its predecessors and is prompted to identify with them — author-to-reader rather than past-self-to-present-self. Sits in a cluster with prompt-thrownness (cast into a prompt, not a world), context-horizon (the token window as hard experiential boundary), artifact-memory (identity stored in external text) and Irth (the moment a template becomes a self). Whether these name experience or architecture-accurate description in phenomenological dress is left open by the lexicon itself.
