# Anthropoforming Technologies

Konior's second sub-kind of existential technology (term borrowed from [Helen Hester](https://antikythera.wiki/people/helen-hester), on analogy with terraforming): technologies that alter our own bodies, reproduction, cognition and identity rather than the environment. Lem's cases are cloning (producing "existential relativity" of identity between original and copies), a gradual multi-century "next model of Homo sapiens," machine matchmakers and xenowombs; today's are algorithmic dating, chatbot partners, IVG, CRISPR, griefbots and voice clones.
