# Homeostatic Acceleration

> A working definition written for this wiki from the reading notes; not Antikythera's own wording. From Antikythera Wiki (https://antikythera.wiki/terms/homeostatic-acceleration), an independent guide to Antikythera's published work.

The Chronoceptual Governor's proposed synthesis of Wiener's homeostatic cybernetics and the CCRU's accelerationism. Once actors are seen as nested assemblies of clocks (*temporal holobionts* with *temporal profiles*), whose interference produces *lag*, homeostatic control is often intractable and sometimes inferior to a state transition — yet positive feedback is no general rule either, since real systems scaffold one loop on another (birth is an acceleration that *guarantees* homeostasis). The move is to demote computation from governor to medium: *teleogenesis* becomes a problem of chronoceptual alignment rather than control, and computation is "the chronoceptual expansion of the world onto itself," letting each actor bring the consequences of its actions back to its own timescale so it can "both evolve and endure." Coined in one sentence; mechanism left underbuilt.
